This is a stat I just heard a pundit say. I don't know where this is measured to link it, whether it is true or not. I just heard a pundit say it, and it would not surprise me.

It flashed on the screen during the game that we had 27 which led the country. That was in the 2nd or 3rd quarter. Added a couple after that.

Sounds like we are doing a shite job of evaluating and coaching WRs

They aren’t great. I’ve always felt Bell was a little overrated. Arian is a 1 trick pony. Lovette is solid. That’s it. And to be fair, Rara and Young having their legal situations negatively affected the situation. Hopefully we hold on to the 2 studs we have committed.

Bell looked fantastic toward the end of the season last year but he's been a total non-factor this season. It's bizarre.

He made a lot of contested catches but he still gets basically no separation and has inconsistent hands. He’s a pretty good screen guy cuz he’s strong and gets north and south but as a technician he needs a lot of work.

We had 13 WR's in 2023, lost 8 of them and one, Anthony Evans is injured. Cole Speer has never been a meaningful contributor.

One our three transfer pickups is suspended (Young) and one has hardly seen the field (Jackson).

McConkey-NFL,
Rosemy-Jacksaint out of eligibility.
Tyler Williams, transfer
Morrissette, transfer
CJ Chandler, transfer
Haynes, transfer
Meeks, transfer
Thomas dismissed.

Freshmen
Sacovie White - hurt
Jeremy Bell - hasn't played
Tuggle - rarely played

That's not a lot of continuity to build on and, contrary to popular opinion, WR is not a plug and play position. They need time to learn the offense and work with the quarterback.
