IF Tennessee beats Georgia, Tennessee is in. If they lose they are out.
IF Tennessee loses to Georgia, the winner of Alabama/LSU will jump them and make the playoffs.

Notre Dame has to lose again, maybe even twice

Good point, I hadn’t even considered independents like Notre Dame. A two lose Notre Dame team will make it for ratings alone.
