I wouldn’t take Ewers or Beck in the first 3 rounds.

People need to remember that production is rarely the most important factor in the NFL draft.

Anthony Richardson had horrific college productivity. Josh Allen wasn't all that great either.

The reality is that for this upcoming class there aren't any guys that check all the boxes.

Ward is shorter than people like (right at 6-2) and has a good but not great arm.
Beck has a good but not great arm and isn't excessively mobile.
Nuss is shorter than the NFL likes and isn't excessively mobile.
Ewers is shorter than the NFL likes and is only moderately mobile.
Sanders is shorter than the NFL likes and has some off the field questions.


You really have to get down the list to a guy like Drew Allar to get to a guy who ticks the physical boxes for the NFL. I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up in the top 20 in the draft out of nowhere.

Nuss is actually pretty mobile. He just refuses to run.

But if you watch him in the pockets he is able to move around and avoid sacks.
