The OL protected JM. Clean pocket! He could run for 10+ even if he doesn't throw it to the 2 guys WIDE open. One guy is open for a TD and one in the flat. He overthrew Haynes and it went into the 3rd row.

My goodness I wish I wouldn’t have seen this. Milroe is destroying this offense.

I said it earlier and I’ll say it again: DeBoer made a critical error by not having an open quarterback competition in the spring. Milroe has regressed to the point of no return. His attitude and body language are terrible. That picture encapsulates what kind of quarterback he is (he’s not a real quarterback). Making mistakes that a high school quarterback should not be making. He just doesn’t have it between the ears.

That may be the widest hole I've ever seen.

In the interview that the ABC reporter had with DeBoer at the beginning of the second quarter yesterday, he said that he had been speaking with Milroe about decision making and you could tell that he was not happy. He doesn't show much emotion but you could tell that he was frustrated with Milroe.

Here's another one ....

Clean pocket. Man wide open to throw to or JM could take off for 10+ again. JM took a SACK! Atrocious QB play.

He’s Jalen Hurts in 2017. DeBoer has to make a change right now. That game felt like Auburn that season when Hurts hit the wall late in the season.

... but Saban stuck with him and lost with Tua on the bench. If not for some other teams losing late we don't get the Tua natty.

Not too sure about the run on the second one but the pass was there. The def guys were closing in on him quick.

However I do believe it is time to try another qb.

I get the comparison, Milroe yesterday was so much worse than Hurts ever was

Very true. Hurts also seems like a higher quality individual on top of that. He stuck with Bama after he was benched in favor of Tua in 2018.

Nah, don’t think that one was on him. The first is atrocious, but I believe that 2nd one was on 3rd and long when UT rushed 3 against our 5 OL. If he dumps it off that fast, it’s 4th down. He had a guy come open over the middle about a half second later on that play that would have been a 1st down but our 5 OL could only block 1 of the 3 defenders. 5 against 3, the QB thinks he has time and is looking downfield…that one was completely on the OL..couldn’t even give Milroe 2.5 seconds of protection on a 3 man rush

Short pass would have been better than a sack. That is right at FG range.

He stuck around because he'd have had to sit a year if he transferred and Oklahoma still had Kyler Murray. There was no benefit to transferring before he graduated.

I've seen several of these breakdowns over the past few weeks. It tells me that the play designs are really good but our qb cannot execute them. Even on some of his completions, there were better options to throw to.

Anyone know why he threw 30 times to Williams?

QBs don’t have 2 sets of eyes. Can’t look at receivers and the rush. Milroe usually holds the ball way too long, but that play wasn’t one of those. He literally had less than 3 seconds on a 3 man rush. Absolutely embarrassing

There were plenty of times when UT rushed 5 or blitzed where he should have checked it down. He made plenty of mistakes yesterday, but that one wasn’t one. That was completely an OL failure
