Just seeing if anyone else is going. We are parking at 400 E 8th Street lot around noon after eating lunch at Terry Blacks.

I was going, but decided to give my nephew the tickets since he is a junior at UGA. Thought it would be a good experience for him.

When I go back in Feb. I am trying that place.

I tried Franklin's last October and it didn't disappoint.

FYI - You will need to walk everywhere you want to go because Uber's are ridiculous to find that weekend with all the people in town

I'll be there .Flying into SA tomorrow and driving up to Austin Friday.
We found a little office to park at less than a mile from the stadium. We're considering paying $40 to do the big tailgate hosted by Surly Horns (texas message board). It's unlimited brisket and sides, beer, liquor. Not sure on that yet though.

Everything is going to be ridiculously priced this weekend there. Add in the F1 race going on @ COTA.

Have fun, drink beer, eat BBQ, and GO DAWGS!!

i have a feeling that there will be way more Dawg fans at the Texas game than the Alabama game. Texas environment isn't as intimidating as Bama either.

Also, we've already played a huge road game this season, and Texas has played little debbies at home this season.

Out of all of the things that are working in Georgia's favor, that's probably both of them.

Is Franklin's the place where the plates are 65 dollars and they put the sides in little ranch dressing condiment cups.

Is there a site to buy tickets to that tailgate? I would just park at the lot I pre-paid and walk to that spot.

I used to travel to Austin a good bit for work. Would spend 2-3 days there once a month. I liked Franklins but prefer Blacks.

Unless you want to line up at 6am I woulnd't count on going to Franklin's this weekend. From what I understnad you have to line up a few hours before they open on a NORMAL day, so this weekend is out of the question.

Thanks. Just bought two. We will probably get to that spot at 3:30.

I will have on a black Titleist golf cap. Titleist letters in UGA red and red FJ on one side and red Pro VI on the other side.

I was told that Red Roof Inns rooms were going for $2,900 per night with a three night minimum. I would hate to pay that much to watch a loss.

Go Dawgs. Earn your support.

I booked a hotel in Temple in January. I wanted to be an hour outside of Austin the night before and just drive down Saturday morning. Was hoping for a 2:30 kick but looks like I will be getting back to Temple around midnight with the 6:30 kick. My hotel was $238 a night when I booked.

I land at 9:20 AM local time tomorrow morning (should probably be asleep). Going out on the boat on Lake Travis Friday. Then a party that night with some Texas people and then a house party tailgate on Saturday with a band, etc. Staying on South Congress.
