......log 145 wins or more during the first 15 seasons of their career (all at Georgia). This includes former coaches Tom Osborne (Nebraska), Bob Stoops (Oklahoma), and Barry Switzer (Oklahoma).

As one of the top coaches in NCAA history, Richt posted a record of 171-64 while at UGA (15 years) and Miami (3 years).

Yesterday, Mark Richt was honored as the recipient of the.......American Heart Association's 2025 Paul 'Bear' Bryant Heart of a Champion Award presented by Houston, Texas-based St. Luke's Health, honoring his exceptional contributions to college football and the community while supporting the Association's relentless pursuit of a world of longer, healthier lives for everyone everywhere. The Heart of a Champion Award recognizes individuals whose notable contributions and positive influence have helped define the way we experience sports; and whose life exemplifies characteristics for which Coach Bryant was known, including integrity, perseverance, determination and grit.

Congratulations, Mark Richt!!

Coach Mark Richt shortly after being released from hospital for heart attack. He also suffers from Parkinson's Disease. Richt & Family live in Athens, Georgia.

Yep, goes to show how hard it is to win one.

I used to have a client who had advanced Parkinson's. It's an ugly disease. I hope his hasn't gotten too bad yet.

Good for him, he was just too stubborn to manage the roster properly.

Good Man.

To me, Richt was the type of Coach and man that this modern game has done away with. It seemed he was honorable in a non lawyerly /beancounter /grinding every loophole way that has passed. He wouldn't greyshirt (or whatever, I can't remember exactly).

But progress and money reigns.

I don't really like the direction of the game, even though it was inevitable I guess.

True.......but, his reward in heaven will be far, far greater than any championship or honor he could garner here on earth!

I always thought highly of Mark probably the nicest coach ever.
I always hoped Tennessee would have stolen him away.
Sad what he is going through

Their are multiple online first person reports from former Parkinson's patients who reversed their disease by following a strict carnivore diet. I've been following one of the most impressive examples on Twitter for a good while. Her name is Mimi Morgan. Mimi has been interviewed by several YouTubers. One example is linked below.

I Ate ONLY ONE Food And My Parkinson's REVERSED

Few people understand how quickly health can be recovered if all toxic foods are ditched in favor of dense nutrition from animal sources like eggs, beef, lamb and oily fish.

I wish Mark Richt had some awareness--the best doctors want to treat progressive disease and have no interest in cures.

Was also continually undercut and underfunded by this incompetent clown.

Love this gif. Richt was often flagged by refs for yelling at them.
