Never attended UT so I’m not officially a Longhorn, but have been rooting for them since the mid 80s.

Not a troll; genuine question. I've said over and over why I root for Arkansas and A&M even though I never attended either.

Because I grew up in a family split between Longhorns and Aggies so you had to pick a side otherwise EVERYONE hates you on thanksgiving.
I remember watching Texas games with my father and grandfather…passed down I guess.

Texas grad. Want the Longhorns to win all the games. But would prefer my daughter (12) to go elsewhere due to over the top liberal culture there now.

Pretty rough stretch to make that choice. I started at A&M in 1985, just as the streak was starting where A&M won 10 of 11.

That could very well be true, but her experience will be a lot less fun and enriching if she isn't a liberal (which it sounds like she probably isn't based on her dad's/mom's attitude lol).

Horn grad here and my daughter graduated from there 2 years go. I was constantly battling the programming they push on them now. It's disgusting.
Funny how entering the corporate world moved her back to the right. It doesn't take long for a lot of them to wake up once the real world kicks their arse.

Probably good for BigSeezy to hook up with an aggy pool boy, but then he'll be happy, and his wife will be frustrated.

The most amazing transformation is the transitioning both these two Texas Teams have made during this climate of hope and change.
The old SWC foes are Bro-ing up.
Baylor, Tech, SMU, Houston, TCU and Rice have all been abandoned. Arkansas has been able to find a place to park in the SEC.
Austin and Houston are great places for Californians to flee and find “ companionship”. The PAC12 is a disaster and those Cadets are snappy dressers. Very manscaped.
Just an observation.
The Shootout is Saturday. Steers will be trimmed and ready for grilling for the Sunday afternoon picnic.
