To have stole their soul we would have had to win and then they would have had to have lost to Vanderbilt which I seriously doubt happens

Alabama's in the same boat as Georgia. Roster getting shredded by NFL departures, transfer portal bidders, disenchanted bench sitters, etc. It's hard to take 40 new faces and rebuild the depth with players who don't know what to do.
Having said that; Bama's offensive coordinator sucks, their DC sucks too. They have no leadership, their quarterback is a game manager. Their offensive tackles are a swinging gate and their receivers can't get separation. The secondary can't cover and nobody can tackle. Their team is undisciplined, poorly coached and generally sucks all around. Their season is over before it started.
