Ole Miss! Great game today, very good game plan on D and O and I see now why some posters were pulling for tyrone nix as our new DC. I loved watching the aggressive, take it to them, play calling all game long. The final score didn't represent the way you man handled them. Way to represent the SEC!!!!

Too bad the gumps let us down, I think we would have been on our way to a 7-1 record in bowls this year, pretty good when we were supposed to be "down" as a conference.

I told anyone here in Houston who would listen, that Ole Miss was one of the hottest teams in the country & were capable of beating almost anyone. My only disappointment was they didn't win by more points to discredit OU's big win over TT, because Herbie has been trying so hard to talk up the Big XII on ESPN. Nutt has done wonders for Ole Miss, & after what they have been thru the last few years under Coach O, they deserve a break. The SEC West is going to be tougher next year given the Rebs imporvement. To the Rebs...

Exactly, but not really at all, SEC was the second best conference this year and everyone knew that, behind the Big 12, which is debatable in a sense. 6-2 is still pretty good but Bama did let us down after their fans talking a bunch of smack the entire season about how the crimson tide was bringing home the NC but then got quiet after the gators came to town.

All in all, the gumps need to learn their place
