Is it just me or does Mark May seem to terribly hate the SEC and Ole Miss in particular?

I watched the ESPN crew preview the Cotton Bowl last night and he vehemently argued against any point the others made that seemed to favor Ole Miss.

Then today after the game was over during halftime of the UK-ECU game, he gave NO credit to the Rebels. Every highlight that was showed he quickly dismissed by pointing out why Texas Tech "let" them happen..

He is a joke..

In my humble opinion of course

he was pretty big on the SEC last season especially LSU but he seems to have faded off the SEC. he's always pro-pac 10.

I honestly believed Ole Miss would beat TT. I give them remendous credit for beating Florida and LSU on the road. 2 of the toughest places to play.

Nobody really hates Ole Miss, but most people pity them. May is just following suit.

I have always thought May was anti SEC. He is openly still bitter about not getting the shot against UGA to play for the title in 80, but I think he hams that up to an extent. He and Holtz suck pond water. Bring back Trev!!!

If you watched ESPN at all, especially yesterday, you know that anyone that is on the college football crew is just spewing out shite they are told to say. They're told to hype up USC, the pac-10, the big 10, and the big 12 south. And if any of those teams or groups fails, they are paid to make excuses for them on national tv.

As soon as ESPN's SEC contract comes into effect, watch everyone's "opinions" shift to the SEC.

I think they just draw straws to see who they will support. They are just trying to drum up viewership through controversy.

Now, I hate your coach (actually despise, hate is such a strong word) but congrats on your win. Your team really dominated Tech. Tech simply was not as physical as the rebels.

There was also a good story about one of the players being homeless when he was young but he was adopted by what seems a nice couple. Hard to cheer against that story (despite despising Hootie).
