The collective is docking their NIL money as soon as they get hard enough in the wallet they will calm down.

So far outside of the wreck that killed a team member and some staffers it's been nothing but tickets and slaps on the wrist for all these idiots however the day is coming where one of them kills someone who is not part of the program and when that happens there will be hell to pay from the top down at ugag because neither the school nor the coach have really done shite to get this under control because nothing will interfere with winning. Until they start making examples out of these guys it won't stop. That much is obvious.

Explain this hell to pay idea of yours. Seems like a massive reach on your part.

Any program that has a culture problem, a downfall takes place. We have seen this countless times.

So let's say one of your idiots is racing on the 10 loop and gets in a wreck and kills a mother and daughter. Given the shite that's gone on up to this point and the total lack of accountability not only is the family going after the driver they are going after the school. They're going to go after your football program and the coach that has enabled this crap to go on. The amount of media and public pressure will be overwhelming. The dollar figure will be enormous. The days of you guys sweeping this shite under the rug will be over. Your fixer won't be able to fix it.

If Kirby wants to end this shite he needs to start making examples out of players meaning no matter how many stars are by your name or how much you play you get caught racing etc... you are gone. No questions. You're out. At a minimum it gives him and the school some cover but the reality is he doesn't have the balls to do that and neither does the school. Winning is the only thing that matters. It will take a catastrophic event involving deaths outside the program for anything to change.

Lawyers would simply tell them they have no case at all. Uga doesn’t provide the car. Uga doesn’t certify the DL. Uga doesn’t pay for car insurance.

Pure nonsense. Not one coach would do that. Why? If they did, it’s not going to stop the problem, and their rivals would sign that kid up for next season. People will always drive fast cars fast.

James Pearce is part of that same culture. You think he is the only vol to drive his fast car fast?

No way to stop this, says only program where this keeps happening.

We have tried nothing consequential, and we are all out of ideas.

Naive, especially since GA passed a law that allows the school to pay the players directly. There’s a case and a massive PR battle there.

You had to go back to 2023 to find a VOL in a traffic incident. UGA has has 24+ since then.

But sure, it’s the “same everywhere”

Naive to think an employer is liable for what an employee does off the clock in their own vehicle.

No. But it is not nearly close to the level of UGA. Trying to pretend it’s equivalent is mental illness.

Tend to agree. No one here knows what internal discipline is or is not occurring.

If the state or legal system doesn't take significant action, what can the staff really due but bench a player for endangering others and discrediting the program's reputation?

Georgia has a super speeder law to suspend licenses for speeding under the age of 21 and over a certain speeding threshold? Why aren't the traffic courts enforcing it where it applies?

If the university was overly concerned, I'm certain they could revoke on campus driving (in certain cases for private campuses) and parking privileges. But, that would apply to all students and be a larger can of worms.

They could solve everything with a Dazed and Confused football code of conduct pledge sheet.

It could happen on campus, or as a player is leaving a team meeting or practice. Could also be a wrongful death suit. Plenty of avenues for a good litigator with the public on his side.
