I don’t get this narrative. tu could have joined the SEC when A&M left but you were too scared. You only joined the SEC because Aggy was dominating you in recruiting and people cared so little about your brand it was hurt by playing in Kansas and Iowa. It never hurt Oklahoma, but tu is such a big bag of nothing you needed a conference re-brand to make you relevant. No one watched your network, no one cares about living among the homeless in Austin, and no one even wanted your NIL money if it meant having to travel to Lubbock for a rivalry game.
You needed us to try and be relevant again and it hurts you. I get it. I would be embarrassed too.

b) Dodds felt TAMU betrayed him after he went to bat for you when the SWC fell. SEC didn't want you back then, and he told them Texas wasn't coming without Texas A&M. Then Texas politicians got involved, resulting in the Big 12.
c) Dodds' shiny new Longhorn Network wouldn't have been allowed in the SEC.
