Seems like a function of having 5 bad losses weighing down the RPI. Take 2-3 of them away and State likely has a top 15 RPI and would be a lock to host. Kind of silly considering State has 16 Q1 wins. Only Kentucky, A&M, and Tennessee have more; however those teams have 2 total Q4 losses combined.
