I mean fricking HELL. Playing against UCF and give up two back to back 3-RUN homers in the top of the sixth while leading 6-4…
Why do all of AU sports have to be like this. frick.

The Clint hitjob left Dean a mess. Clint had a Bruce Pearl effect on that program but we had to let Clint go just because his son went rogue? Nobody wants to talk about those players that were adament Clint was a great guy. A couple players that were disgruntled probably got paid to badmouth Clint. Considering Auburn's softball record books is mainly Clint I consider that a well spent hiitjob by the REC.

Clint’s son was harassing players and fricking one under his watch. He literally had to quit coaching because of that. Everyone top down from Jacobs tried to cover that crap up to save face.

We could have just as easily dropped the son.
I dont know about any of the coverup crap, but dont like the speed in which we decided to act. The woke mob expecting us to make decisions as fast as the media can generate clicks is what bit us.

We should have dropped the son, and kept Clint but he tried covering for him and that did him in. I still wish we had him.

It is really retarded that Clint let his son be his achilles heel. He had it all. Girls from the west coast coming to play here.
I am watching Missouri vs Omaha now and softball is a exciting sport when you are winning. Those were some good years.

Maddie threw 224 pitches. She struck out 21. She gave up 1 run on 3 hits. Auburn won 2-1 in 12. Must knock off FSU twice. Hell of a job by our ladies.

Maddie came in against FSU and one of her episodes ......Threw a fat one down the pipe that landed over the Center Field fence.....Three runs and Auburn was finished.

It was a typical Auburn thing. Like it or not. Someone comes in, team gets great, shite comes out of the woodwork.

To be clear, we did not "let Clint go"... he was not forced out. His son was fired for cause. Clint decided at that point to step down. That was his decision, not a university mandate.
