I'd argue strikeout to walk is far more important for a closer because it determines the likelihood of a successful save via the number of batters faced.
And no one around him in that area would be a freshman. Point being saying Gaeckle isn't one of the best freshmen to come through here is just plain stupid.

Which I never said. You are the one that said he would be the third best pitcher on A&M's staff, not third best reliever.
You are the one that said he is better than Ryan Prager..
