An all-time Aggie favorite as quarterback, Bucky Richardson has one of the most memorable football careers at Texas A&M. It was said that he played quarteback with a linebacker attitude. He was the most winningest A&M quarterback after his senior year, going 10-0 as a starter. Richardson threw for 3,039 yards and 14 touchdowns in his career and rushed for a net gain of 2,095 yards that put him as the SWC’s all-time rushing quarterback.
