Not true, look at all the "talent" Cal had yet, did not win.

Cal can recruit, no doubt

Cal can get the fans excited, no doubt

Where Cal has issues

#1 In game coaching adjustments, cost him many a game

#2 Listening to others when he is wrong

If the Hogs can fix those, you will do well. If not, prepare for disappointment.

I don't disagree with these two points in any fashion. But, we had a raging lunatic on the sidelines take us to two elite 8's and a sweet 16 for the 1st time in forever... lol.

Nobody had a bigger ego than Muss, or spouted off more than Muss.. But he knew how to market a program and get transfers. He did not develop anyone at all, or much anyways. His temper got him in trouble with officials, donors, etal.
Cal will be great with donors for a few years at least, and keep things rolling. PR will not be an issue, Talent will not be an issue. We will see if he is willing to change anything, by the looks of it... he is at least getting more higher rated portal players for this 1st class (a necessity).

And making fun of Pope isn't cool. I do not think he is the answer at KY myself, but he may surprise us? but the Dope stuff is childish! WPS

Here's what will happen with Cal at Arky:

year 1: a big surprise. arkansas seriously underperformed last year and Cal gets them to a nice 20-win regular season. They win 1 or 2 in the SEC tourney and make the NCAA. They're out in round one but it's a big improvement and shows hope!

year 2: similar to year 1. but that's ok, he's just building his program

year 3: slight regression. miss the tourney

year 4: wait, this dude is 70?

no year 5
