Never underestimate the recruiting prowess of Bo Davis. If a recruit chooses a one year NIL over an opportunity to be coached ready for NFL... Then said recruit is trading future NFL dollars for fast money.

I think Bo is a phenomenal coach and I wouldn't take any DL coach over him but he's not a great recruiter. Look at how many top DL he landed at Texas...none (and that's with NIL).
It's frustrating but it might be a blessing in the long run. The top DL recruits command top dollar in an NIL world, if you can develop decent recruits, you potentially save big money to allocate elsewhere.
