Like anywhere, boosters want to feel appreciated. There’s a lot more at places like UT than other schools. So, you can’t avoid or act like the political part of being HC is beneath you (like TH did). Sark’s following Mack’s blueprint and it’s earned him a lot of support.

That'll go a loooonnngggg way. Mack Brown is from the old school...he flat out knows how to walk that razors edge of giving donors the attention they crave while maintaining control over the program. Sark is fortunate to have a blue print to follow...he is also from the Saban tree so he watched first hand the greatest at doing it that ever existed....the only issue I would be concerned with is the stories about his past....in a pressure cooker its all too easy for cracks in character to become major rifts.
