Both Texas and Tennessee are commonly referred to as UT. We're not going to use some Aggyism like UTa or TU or whatever. You guys are just going to have to rub a couple brain cells together and use context clues.
I usually use "Texas" instead of "UT," anyway. But the more you people show that it gets to you, the more I want to use UT.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

I got the context clues; but my point is that since mighty Texas has joined the SEC we must bow and salute. Never mind that in the old SEC we automatically equated UT as Tennessee.

TU was a big fish in a small pond but it’s time to come to terms with the new reality. Texas was a plus 1 to get Oklahoma. Y’all are not as important as you want to believe.
While UT is a founding member of the SEC and earned its accolades in the SEC. We don’t cry and jump conferences (read destroy conferences). We earned the moniker UT and everything east of the Mississippi UT is the University of Tennessee’s identifier. Since the SEC headquarters is based east of the Mississippi everything SEC related (ie this SEC forum) has UT identifying the university of Tennessee.
Pick UTx or UTa or TU, or dildo U, or horns or anything not already trademarked and learn your role.
