My thoughts before it kicked in was the players would receive a decent wage then be able to earn more with other deals which was fair since they were restricted on earning income outside of their scholarships.

But bidding wars over players is disgusting no matter who it is. Maybe when smaller schools like Arkansas start utilizing this and succeeding with it they’ll finally address it and make changes, which is generally what happens.

I’ll believe the Jerry thing when he tells me himself, I don’t recall him making any money noise in any sport and if does do it I’d rather it be in football.
