Watch this year's NFL draft. Look at all the guys from FSU who will get drafted. After that go back and see if they played in the Orange Bowl.

Their starters quit on themselves, their team, their fans, and no one should ever let them forget that.

The difference in culture is stark and definitive. FSU pooched their lips out and quit. UGA, disappointed in losing by a FG in the SEC CG, did what champions do and picked themselves up off the mat and annihilated the quitters. You can't blame the players, it is a systemic thing in Tallahassee. For many, many years the FSU nation was satisfied with Bobby Bowden's "better to be a live coward than a dead hero" ideology and it permeates the program to this day. FSU has a long and storied history of making child like decisions...from joining the ACC instead of the SEC to quitting in the Orange Bowl...it is an embarrassment. They likely wind up in the SEC soon and will be an embarrassment to the SEC as well.

They have a shot at redemption. They could do what UGA did in the 2020 Sugar Bowl after pooching their lips out and quitting in the 2019 Sugar Bowl in the same manner. They probably won't get a chance with an extended playoff.
