I actually agree. I'd much rather be in the conversation every year than have the dream year then have absolutely nothing to look forward to afterward.

Obviously I'd take the best of both worlds, but if winning one means we stop trying and become a doormat, I'm not so sure.

Ole Miss has been consistently good for 2 decades. The natty means more than anything else Ole Miss has done over the last 2 decades. Maybe one day Arkansas will know what winning the CWS feels like. But for now the most memorable Arkansas baseball moment for most people is dropping that foul ball. And losing the natty. No one remembers anything else you did because every season ended in a loss no matter how many games you won.
