The bad parts of Mobile are as bad as anywhere in the US and I’ve seen most of them.

You need to put Birmingham on that list too because while if you stay in the right areas it’s one of the safest places you could visit, the bad areas are right there with anyone from a violent crime perspective.

Arguing crime rates based on reported stats only tells half the story because many of those cities cook the books with regard to their reported crimes.
