Agree on the St Louis parts. Lived there 98-2001. Outside of N StL and parts of downtown and all of E StL the place was safe and fun.
And….. I have many of fun memories from Friday evening and nights at the Tittay bars in E StL. Rough places, yes. But lots of fun. The ladies were completely naked and up for anything. Anyone else remember the club with the shower on the second floor overlooking the stage?

There were two. Both in Brooklyn, IL.

Roxy’s was the most famous that had the shower dances. It was basically a whore house.

The second was right across the street, called Platinum. It was even dirtier.

Unfortunately, both are now closed. The only clubs left in Brooklyn are the black clubs, Pink Slip and Bottoms Up.

I had some crazy times there.
