You think these guys give af what a fanbase thinks
Public perception is critically important to a first year coach transitioning Saban and replacing a QB that went to the playoffs. Yes, this has to be handled very well. There is many things to consider. Team support, split fanbase support, recruiting, race issues, media view of it, etc. What makes it worse is Milroe is a likeable guy, he just isn't the best QB.

Ehh, I get where you're coming from and that was honestly the best response I've heard pertaining to this topic yet, however I'm gonna go back to what I said when a guys livelihood and reputation is on the line you think he is gonna listen to people who isn't involved with the team or have knowledge of what is going on in practice. No coach can afford to take a risk like that especially at a high profile job.
