Actual blue bloods:

1- Alabama
2- Ohio State
3- Oklahoma
4- Notre Dame
5- USC

Big Names, but no.

6- Michigan
7- Nebraska
8- Texas
9- Penn St

Then it starts getting jumbled with LSU, Miami, FSU, Tennessee, Florida.

Michigan hasn't won enough championships to be a true blue blood. Nebraska might be the one program that managed to lose blue blood status. They've been putrid for nearly a quarter of a century now.

Before the Saban era at Bama, most of these lists probably would have had Notre Dame at #1. Still a blue blood, but no championship since 1988 has them sliding down the list.

You're leaving out another category; The 'Who cares' category...

Which would be 'everybody' with a real grip on reality.

Face it bro, all that matters is who is going to hoist the NC trophy this season. That's all that anyone in 2024 is going to remember. If you bring up all of Bama's accomplishments at a party, even the Bama fans are going to say, 'Yeah, that's nice. Soooo....how do you think we're gonna do this season?" Go ahead and rip me, but you know I'm right.
