He couldn't pay every single player every single season like they're now demanding

Pre-nil he only paid them during the recruiting process.

He lost control of his players

Quiet as it's kept Saban's last few classes including the Covid class weren't that good regardless of ranking.

And, I could tell the classes had fallen off because we haven't gotten anything out of South Florida since Cristobal got to Miami. Look at our DL recruiting and compare it to Miami's the last 2 cycles. Miami has the elite DL we used to sign. The DL is our biggest positional deficit and Freddie Roach isn't the best DL coach.
