I don't think so. He's said in the past cal and him used to be friends (usually talking about politics together) but that changed after Cal took offense to criticism during the Covid year. He doesn't dislike Cal but they aren't enemies. He owes his career to covering the John Wall team under call and his bar is dependent on Kentucky basketball and football wins.

Apparently you can't be critical of Cal and remain friendly
