I was a senior in 1989.
The most dominant team I can recall from any school. We were 58-5 going into the championship game of our regional.
Then LSU, and that bastard Ben McDonald.
Finish 58-7.
As far as I know, the only team to finish #2 in the rankings without even going to Omaha.
BAS is a thing, and I've seen it.

Yep and that 89 team will still end up being best A&M team record wise. Time will tell about this team after SEC play. Today did not start on right foot for the 2024 team. Silly for that poster even making comment maybe best ever. Lol
