I'm old, old oldschool-- go WAAAY back and you'll find that Kentucky had two horrendous football coaches from 1962 to 1972.
Charlie Bradshaw-- the hellfire and brimstone preaching Southern Baptist preacher who had his team lifting barbells and doing squats in the pouring rain, on a muddy field.
Bradshaw's record in 7 seasons:25-41-4 (12-30-2 SEC)
John Ray 1969-1972. Record in 4 seasons: 10-33 (4-24 SEC).

The UK football coaches before those two were Bear Bryant and Blanton Collier. From penthouse to outhouse.
Bradshaw was cruel. He ran off all but thirty players. The thin thirty.
