I agree, but my big concern is watching talented players on losing SEC teams getting poached by winning SEC programs, which I don't think is good for the conference overall.

I guess that's already happening, but since we no longer have divisions and are moving to one conference maybe the SEC could implement some kind of 6-game waiting period before transfer players are eligible to play in a real game. I know that won't stop teams from stealing your players, but maybe it will at least slow down all this jumping from team to another

I know that will never happen, but allowing conference teams to raid another conference team's roster only makes the strong teams even stronger, and pretty much assures that the struggling teams will most likely stay stuck at the bottom.
