5. Florida 41 Ohio State 14
34-14 at half. Ohio State had 84 yards of offense. Heisman trophy winner had 6 total yards of offense. Utter destruction.

4. Alabama 42 Notre Dame 14
28-0 at half. Bama had 260 rushing and 260 passing. Notre Dame was uncompetitive from the opening snap and looked like they had no business being on the same field.

3. Alabama 52 Ohio State 24
610 yards of offense and the game was over mid way through the 3rd.

2. USC 55 Oklahoma 19
2nd largest point difference. 2nd largest half time deficit (38-10). Total arse whooping.

1. Georgia 65 TCU 7
Largest half time deficit (38-7). Largest ever point differential. 590 yards to 180. Biggest beat down possibly in any championship game in any sport.

Thoughts? Opinions?

My team has a few true asskickings on your list but what Georgia did to TCU was the Georgia Tech v. Cumberland of championship games.

Only because TCU had no business being in that game. Not a big win for Georgia as much as it was a frick up by the playoff committee.
