Again, with the history of the state, the south, and the country I don't trust that we can either. We have literal history to prove that we will not be treated fairly

Well if what you are saying is true(its not) than there is no point in trying. There is no appetite for DEI nonsense anymore amongst the general public and its implementation has been a disaster. If a black person thinks they cant get a fair shake where they live, it makes sense to go elsewhere.

So your answer to racism is.......racism? Because that's what DEI is. Hiring someone not for their sklls, but for their skin color.
