My biggest concern with Alabama's defense in 2024 is cornerback and really just the field corner position. Currently have a 2nd year and 1st year player as the probably depth chart there.
That was a joke about the quantity of co-DCs Alabama currently has, but with the amount of turnover the Alabama secondary has had, any Nickle package is going to require some guys to grow up fast.

FWIW, I think a 4-2-5 with traditional FS, CB/S hybrid, and Star provides a lot of flexibility.
