Matt Ryan was 35, didn't have a major injury and was the #4 passer in the NFL when they got rid of him. Cousins was the #4 passer in the NFL, now coming off a major injury, is 35 and you throw the bank at him. The Falcons are in full rebuild mode. They are not making a super bowl with Cousins. They need a young Qb to grow with the young talent they have. They are apparently not going after a qb in the draft with the kind of money they threw at Cousins. They think they can win now with him. It was a waste of money and a dumb move.

Cousins is capable of winning a SB. Like with every other team, they still need talented roster.

This is categorically false.

This is correct. Blank wants to win now due to his age and drafting a QB isn't gonna assure that. Cousins does

He'd of been here through last year if Blank hadn't have flirted w/Watson.

They can still draft a QB to sit behind Kirk.
