I think the SEC will add 2 more teams over the next 5 years.
We have added 4 teams west of the Mississippi so I'm thinking the balance will be east.
We will likely add teams from states not already represented in the SEC.
Teams in North Carolina and Virginia would be logical choices.

Teams that are added will be strong CFB programs that people will tune in and watch, regardless if they exist in a state that already has an SEC school or not.

They won't break up rivalries.

So it will be an additional 4 if it goes down like that. UVa & Tech/ UNC & NC State
