You are welcome. I just reread the last article. I missed this the “public roadway” part the first time.
Did they do a driveby shooting? It sounds like the 16 year old was driving and hit another vehicle or more on the getaway, thus the additional charge for criminal damage to property. If it was a driveby, it won’t matter who actually pulled the trigger. Everybody in the vehicle will get charged for it.

If it was a drive-by, those stray bullets prob hit more than just the two people who got shot. That could also be where the criminal damage to property charge came from.

Leads me to believe they shot and caused damage to property
