In context-
Alabama has won an SEC title every decade since the SEC was founded.
Alabama has a winning record over every SEC team, and a winning record over every team they have played 12 or more times
Alabama has won at least one NC every decade since the 1920's except the 50's and 80's.
Now Alabama has done this with multiple coaches (4 multiple national title winning coaches.)

There's no denying Alabama is a blue blood, and once upon a time, that gave certain programs advantages over other schools.
That started fading away in the late 90's and blue blood programs like Nebraska, Notre Dame, and others floundered as they couldn't live off of their brand any longer.
Some, like Ohio State, are still elite programs but don't have any real advantage over any other elite program now.
Alabama is now squarely in this camp.
