I may be in the minority, but I actually think Milroe is a solid college QB. Not the best in the nation, but pretty good.

I think UT had a weakness at WR/TE the last couple of seasons. They don't have guys like Smith/Metchie/Waddle/Williams/Jeudy/Ruggs/Ridley. For a long stretch, Bama was LOADED with top flight WR talent. But once Metchie and Williams left, they didn't have that kind of talent anymore. You saw that with Bryce Young in 2022 and he was a Heisman winning QB. Milroe isn't that, but if Bama develops another WR or two at that top level they had for years then I think Milroe could put up some really good stats.

He's just not the kind of QB that can make "meh" WR's look like stars.

He can put up great stats but that’s not the goal. He struggles in the short and intermediate passing game. He will have to significantly improve to be a top QB.
