I don't think it really compares to winning a big game at JHS. But then I think, as auburnnyc says, it's not a fair comparison.
I like Neville and I will certainly claim the banner of one of the best environs in all of CBB. Candidly I probably care more about AU basketball than football of late. But Neville is still a new-ish, modern, cookie cutter arena. It's a great venue for noise and atmosphere, but there isn't anything particularly special/interesting about it. You just won't have the sense of awe or anticipation (IMO) that you do taking a kid into JHS for a big game. I'm not sure you can really match that at any bball venue, but obviously Neville isn't somewhere where legends played and historic contests of old were hosted, etc.
And while the atmosphere provides Auburn a huge edge, it largely comes from a relatively small group of students. I just think it's different than the idea of 80k+ including small children and old people going hoarse.
With very rare exceptions there just won't be the pageantry, lead up, and whatnot that comes with CFB. You walk into a box, it's loud, fun, and then you walk out.
