I'm just guessing here, but part of this decision seems to me Grubb's family just didn't want to move so Grubb stayed in Seattle to keep some peace. If the OL coach goes, it will be because Grubb hand picked him and is now wanting him to go with him to run his offense.....It also seems coaches want to avoid this NIL BS as much as possible. NFL is an easier gig now days.

Huff played college in the PNW and coached there for years. I would be surprised if Seattle wanted him if he didn’t go.

I don’t think Seattle’s new OC makes that decision though.

Nah, I think he knew that there was very little chance of ever not winning the championship at Alabama, knowing how far superior he and coach DeBoer were going to be, and decided he wanted the challenge with the Seahawks. Plus, who doesn’t like constant rain?
