Neither FSU nor Clemson is AAU. The B1G has been adamant that it won't expand to any non-AAU schools.

Several universities were invited to the AAU last year. Will more Southern schools be invited within the next several years? VT and Georgia are definitely good enough, as are several other schools. Hell, Arizona State and UC-Riverside are a part of it now.

FSU can be AAU in 2 years or less.

Hard to say. Several YouTube vids say while it's nice, never was a requirement.
