Jordy Bahl (Neb) got hurt last night in 2nd inning and was helped/limped off in pain. Sounds like it’s an ankle based on speculation. On her pitch she came down on her plant tip toe and it caused her to stutter step awkwardly, something like that. Some say 3 weeks but it’s all speculation and could be worse.

Hate it for her, she was the OU ace last year in natty win. I think Nebby put out so much press about her over months to pump tix sales and help program - that was an enormous amount of pressure put on Jordy. They went on to lose run ruled 8-0 by Wash. Could not hurt them any more, they don’t have the supporting players like Jordy had at OU. Neb was ranked 18th too.

Tonight features some top matchups. 6 of the top 20 teams in the country.

Tennessee/Baylor
UCLA/Texas
OU/Washington

Julia Knowler, Clemson frosh, had 2 hr's , in her debut. 4 rbi's. as a relatively new program, we aren't to shabby. Hope to see y'all in OKC. Started the program in 2017.

I've kept an eye on clempsons softball since it's inception, and it is super impressive how quickly they've catapulted to the upper end of the food chain...will be an even greater program as they get rolling.

What OU has done in softball is similar to UCONN in basketball a few years back. Just a tremendous feat. Especially in softball where you play double the number of basketball games.
You all have raised the bar and other teams are elevating their play on the field. You will eventually lose a game but this run is remarkable. Lots of credit to the coaching staff, players, fans and university at large.
