Virginia Tech fans were downright awful at the Chick Fil A kickoff game in ATL the year I went. (We played them twice there)
It was like a bunch of high school kids and they were all getting drunk for the first time that day.
Also the year we played Clemson in ATL there was a furry convention, Black gay pride gathering, Bama and Clemson fans all mixed up in Centennial Park. Will never forget that collection of humanity. It was like an Arrested Development episode come to life.

Wasn't it comic con or something too?
Sitting at the lobby bar at the Westin that evening after the game was highly entertaining if you're into people watching.
It was like putting a bunch of insoluble fluids into the same container and watching them swirl around each other awkwardly.
