August 1-31, 2023
Except: The 48 hours before a home game in August or September 1-2 through the 48 hours after the conclusion of the game is considered a quiet period
November 27-30, 2023
December 18, 2023 – January 11, 2024
Except: The seven days immediately before the first day of classes of the institution’s second academic term that are not part of the contact period (applicable only to prospective student athletes who intend to enroll midyear) is a quiet period
February 5 – March 3, 2024
June 24 – July 24, 2024
WHEN IS THE NCAA CONTACT PERIOD?
Division I FBS and FCS Football
December 1 – 16, 2023
January 12– February 3, 2024
April 15 – May 25, 2024 (U.S. Service Academies)
During the above contact periods, each student-athlete can have six in-person, off-campus contacts with college coaches. Athletes cannot meet with a specific college coach more than once a week (Sunday through Saturday)
Deborah was announced as Alabama’s coach on January 12.
When exactly did DeBoer violate the dead period?
