We lost 2 NBA quality players and key shooters.
Gates hit a home run for next seasons recruiting and finished 2nd on all of his key targets which left him scrambling for this season.
He has chosen to run his system despite the fact he has literally NONE of the pieces necessary to run it. Up until like 2 games ago he had his posts with a green light on 3s. They were collectively like 15% and still permitted to Chuck them up.
We have zero slashers. So we don’t get to the line. We have zero players who can win off the dribble which is a big part of his iso strategy (which was good for Kobe last year).
With an NBA player Gates system is going to make us a top 4 SEC team every year. Without that guy this is a bottom 4 team every year.
