Yes they can if they want to stay on the good side of the NCAA. You can't give a kid a flight out to Knoxville and have him stay a couple of days and fly him back and not be culpable. This isn't court.
If he went on a recruiting visit while he was in Knoxville I think you guys may get some violations here. We will see.
