Yeah our fisheries got hit pretty hard several years ago by golden algae blooms. One trophy lake I used to fish in OK I could pull 7s out of there on artificials and then an algae bloom hit and it was like the lake went dormant. You could fish all day and maybe get one or two bites.

Most of our fisheries have recovered from that since then. Eufala, Broken Bow, and Grand Lake probably top fisheries with great smaller fisheries sprinkled throughout the state.
