Just in the southern theatre:

Nathaniel Green - Yankee
Henry Lincoln - Yankee
Horatio Gates - Yankee via GB
Daniel Morgan - From Virginia
Thomas Sumter - From Virginia

Gates, Morgan, and Lincoln were all at Saratoga as well.

Dude i listed Virginia. I never said that there weren't generals from the north.

What I very factually stated was is that it was the citizens of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia who were the ones who rose up and sent the redcoats home.

At the very end George Washington led his army which had been lurking outside New York City for most of the war south to Jamestown to bottle up Cornwallis.

This was after the British had been cut to pieces in the backwoods of the 3 states that I cited.
